The Action Democratic Party (ADP) has affirm no fewer than 44 candidates for various elective positions in the forthcoming general elections after party members opted for consensus.

The Party Chairman, Alh. Rufa’i Bua Abdulazeez while announcing the party’s unanimous decision said “We have agreed on consensus process as such all stakeholders have endorsed the candidature of all our contestant”

“We have 30 persons going for the state house of assembly , 11 house of representatives aspirants and 3 senate candidates”.

Abdulazeez assured that the ADP would bring succour to Nigerians when elected into power as the party is made up of visionary leaders ready to serve and alleviate the suffering of the people especially in terms of insecurity and hunger.

Alhaji Sabo Sulaiman Taura, gubernatorial candidate in Jigawa state under the ADP charged party members to remain focused and to allow themselves to be deceived by the so called major parties.

According to him, Nigeria belongs to the masses as such, electorates should vote only those who will protect their mandates after elections and to achieve this, only people with good characters must be voted.

He further remind the people not to forget the conditions they have been subjected to and ensure they vote out of office, those whom have failed them and give their votes to their party, the Action Democratic party, ADP.

Sulaiman expressed satisfaction over the party’s primaries for the offices of state assembly, house of representatives and the senate which ended with a consensus without the need for elections which he describes, an of unity within the party.

The guber candidate expressed hope that the party’s next primary for gubernatorial candidates shall also be peaceful for the greater interest and development of the people of Jigawa which remains their priority.
