Nigerian singer, rapper and Damini Ebunoluwa popularly known as Burna Boy has bagged another award as he won the Viewer’s Choice: Best International Act category of the Black Entertainment Television (BET) awards.

Being the third time the superstar would win the award in a row, the 29-year-old Nigerian singer beat his Nigerian counterpart Wizkid and Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz at the Microsoft Theater, in Los Angeles.

This award comes after he continues his dominance in the Nigerian music industry even as he released his most recent album Twice as Tall in 2020, African Giant in 2019, and Outside in 2018 amongst other projects.

Burna Boy also got a Grammy award recently in the Global Music Album category in 2021, and a nomination.
