Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, the lawmaker representing Doguwa and Tudun Wada Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Abuja, on Sunday, donated six brand new patrol vans to security agencies in Kano.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Rano Emirate Community Policing Committee in Doguwa, the Majority Leader of the House said that the gesture was to support the police and other security agencies to ensure adequate security in the area and the state in general.

He further said that the new police station and multi-purpose hall were built to also complement government’s effort at improving the state’s security.

Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje, who inaugurated the vehicles and projects in Doguwa, appreciated the federal legislator for his gesture and support to the police and other security agencies to boost security in the area.

The governor enjoined the general public to support the police and volunteer useful information to facilitate solid intelligence gathering in the state.

Ganduje also called on wealthy individuals and corporate organizations to support the security agencies, in order to secure the state.

The governor also visited and condoled with families of 18 people who lost their lives in an auto accident in Doguwa and made a donation to the families of the victims. NAN
