Mr Babaji Sunday, the Commissioner of Police (CP) in charge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has appointed ASP Daniel Ndirpaya as the new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the FCT.
A statement by the new PPRO on Tuesday in Abuja, said the appointment followed the redeployment of his predecessor, ASP Mariam Yusuf, to a higher duty post.
The statement says Ndirpaya holds a B.Sc. degree in Economics from the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, and was commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force on Dec. 20, 2018, as an ASP.

It said the new PPRO had served as the Officer in Charge, Ambush, Gwarimpa Division, and until his appointment, was the deputy PPRO for the FCT.
“Courses attended by Ndirpaya include Combat Operation Course at the Police Mobile Force Training College, Ila Orangun; and International Humanitarian Law ICRC, amongst others,” it said.
The statement said the new PPRO has called for support and cooperation of residents of the FCT, adding that he could be reached on 08133926624 and [email protected].
“Residents can also drop their comments, observations and commendations in any of the police suggestion boxes located at Berger roundabout, Area 1 roundabout and Federal Secretariat,” the statement added. (NAN)
