Though no more moves can be completed until January now, the transfer news keeps coming, and with that in mind, here is a round-up of the latest Liverpool rumours and gossip from around the globe.
AC Milan chiefs Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara would reportedly have in mind to propose a swap deal involving Kessie and Alcantara in January.
According to recent reports, Kessie has turned down the latest contract offer from Milan, alerting the likes of Liverpool. Kessie’s current deal with Milan expires next summer, and the Serie A club is keen to hand fresh terms to the midfielder.
Those reports claimed that Liverpool, Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain have all been alerted to Kessie’s situation and are considering making a move next summer.
And now according to Il Milanista, an ‘equal exchange’ would please everyone to avoid the worst-case scenario of the player leaving as a free agent next summer. But the ECHO understands Thiago remains an important part of the set-up under Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool may be made to wait if they are to launch a sensational bid to sign the Borussia Dortmund wonder kid.
A report in the Daily Star has claimed Jurgen Klopp has made the 18-year-old midfielder his number one target for next summer and would be willing to spend up to £80million to capture the England international.
The ECHO understands that while Liverpool has long been admirers of Bellingham, any talk of a move is hugely premature given this summer’s transfer window only closed last week.
In any case, another report in The Times has indicated Dortmund will be unwilling to consider selling Bellingham until after the next World Cup.
Liverpool and Manchester City are both reportedly interested in signing the Barcelona youngster.
The youngster’s Barca deal still has another year to run with the option of a further two years, but it contains a release clause of around £70million.
However, reports from Spain recently claimed Barca are determined to build their future around Pedri and have reportedly made a huge contract offer to keep him at the Nou Camp.
But given Barcelona’s huge financial problems, if the youngster opts against signing a new deal, then any offer of £70million is likely to be enough to land the playmaker. [Liverpoolecho]
