In the same report a Moroccan man confirmed his watch had been stolen whilst there were three others robberies reported to the police. Another victim found a items worth over 5,000 euros had vanished from her room.
“To pay a fortune for somewhere fancy and secure and have someone walk in your room is very disturbing,” the female victim said.
“The police told us they saw two men with a bag on the roof on CCTV cameras but they could not identify them. They said three other robberies were also reported. A Moroccan guy in the next room told me he had his watch stolen.”
Since the incident, security has been increased around the hotel with crash barriers put up around the building on Wednesday. [Marca]
