One person was on Saturday confirmed dead, while five others sustained varying degrees of injuries in an auto crash in Abuja.
The accident was said to have happened not far from A.A Rano filling station along the Kubuwa-Abuja Expressway around 11 pm on Friday.
The crash, it was gathered, involved 19 vehicles and a heavy-duty truck.
It was learnt that eight of the vehicle were burnt while the remaining 11 were damaged.

It was further gathered the accident was caused by loss of control by the driver of the trailer.
The Federal Road Safety Corps Spokesperson, Bisi Kazeem, said 20 persons and 19 vehicles were involved in the accident.
He said, “20 persons including 12 males, five females and three male children were involved in the fatal accident while five persons, three males and two females sustained varying degrees of injuries.
“19 vehicles including a trailer were involved in the accident.
“The injured persons and the dead were taken to Zankili hospital Utako before the arrival of the officials at the accident scene.”
