The Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami SAN has paid a visit to the office of the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa to interact on a bill for an act to establish proceeds of Crimes Management Agency Bill.

The Attorney General was in the House Leader’s office as part of routine procedure to furnish him with the basic imports of the bill and seek support of the house for the passage of the bill.

The Bill when passed into law will help regulate and institutionalize activities of other sister institutions in the fight against corruption in the country.

The Bill would further allow Nigeria to formalize on some international protocols to enable it share intelligence in the area of security and financial crime management.

The Bill has passed first reading and now awaits 2nd Reading.
