The Ondo State Government has issued an order restricting nightclub activities in the state’s 18 local government areas, as well as commercial motorcycle riders’ operations throughout the state.

The government also stated that unregistered vehicles and vehicles without tinting permits will be targeted.

Motorcycle operations are prohibited after 6 a.m., according to the order. and 6 p.m. and activities in nightclubs after 12 a.m. will no longer be legal in the state.

Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, the Special Adviser on Security Matters to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and Commander of Amotekun Corps, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.

Adeleye insisted that the order would be strictly enforced by state security agents.

“Law enforcement agencies will resume enforcement of the ban on motorcycle operations between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., nightclub activities after 12 a.m., use of vehicles with tinted glasses without a permit, unregistered vehicles, and use of sticker number plates in lieu of car dealership approved stickers.”

“As a result, all Security Agencies are hereby directed to impound all such motorcycles and vehicles, while the owners or riders are prosecuted.”
