Mother of the Kano New Nigeria Peoples’ Party Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam, Hajiya Rabi has died.

She died at the age of 88.

Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Spokesperson to Engr. Abba K. Yusuf, NNPP Gubernatorial Candidate for Kano disclosed this in a statement issued to Daily News 24.

The statement reads in parts;

With heavy heart and total submission to the will of Almighty of Allah, we announce the passing away of Hajiya Rabi Abdullahi , the mother of Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, deputy NNPP gubernatorial candidate for Kano State 2023.

Hajiya Rabi died at the age of 88 after a brief Illness, she will be buried in Kano according to Islamic rites. She is survived by two children, 48 grandchildren and many relatives.

In a statement signed by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Spokesperson to Engr. Abba K. Yusuf, the NNPP gubernatorial candidate for Kano State 2023 said the funeral prayer is scheduled to hold today (Saturday 5th Nov. 2022) by 4pm at Al-Furqan Mosque, Alu Avenue, Nasarawa GRA, Kano.

Engr. Abba K. Yusuf, also prays for Almighty Allah to dwell her soul in the best part of Jannatul Firdausy and give her family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
