The Kano State Commissioner Of Rural and Community Development who is also longest serving commissioner in the state (Dr) Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso had a hard exterior but a heart of gold, a quirky sense of humour and had almost everything that most people yearned politically.
Professional Success, financial security and towards the end political influence was instilled in him. But the true measure of a man particularly in the eyes of God is in his kindness,selflessness generosity and humility.
And with all these virtues as yardsticks, he truly was immeasurable.
He began his political career as Madobi local government caretaker Chairman and later appointed as Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Rural and Community Development and Ministry of Environment under Ibrahim Shekarau’s administration.
National Working Committee of People Democratic Party appointed him as PRO,
Kano state PDP caretaker committee and appointed as Commissioner Kano State ministry Of Special Duties and Rural and Community Development respectively by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje after he dumps PDP for APC in 2014.
Governor Ganduje re-appointed him as Kano State Commissioner Of Rural and Community Development in 2019 to date due to his immense contribution to the electoral fortunes of the APC in 2019 general election. This is because he’s giving his best in whatever he engaged in and focus on the greater public good over individual gain.
True to that statement, Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso as longest serving Commissioner in Kano State is an accomplished javelin Cather. He is a lightning conductor for Madobi Local Government, bomb-proof, bullet-proof vest combined, despite the fact he’s from same Local government with former Kano state Governor, Ex-Defense Minister and immediate past senator of Kano central Engr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.
During this period, I don’t want busied my self politicking regarding 2023. I find that a bit distasteful and somewhat uncaring particularly when so many people have been unbalanced by the twin public health and economic crisis we face.
Personally, I find greater merit to people of Kura/Madobi/Garun Mallam Federal Constituency by supporting Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso to represent the constituency at National Assembly.
To those who have been actively bleating how their influence and connections may ended Musa Ilyasu’s purported 2023 ambition, I seek their pity. Because he’s a mere mortal who doesn’t enjoy the length of foresight or political wisdom.
Although, seeking any political office is not an offense.because is reflects our overriding desire to restore and maintain democracy not subvert it.
Therefore those who seek to cats themselves as political Nostradamu’s are free to so engage their energies about Kura/Madobi/Garun Mallam federal constituency. But, I trust the discerning public will give the views of such eager seers the scant weight such divination warrant.
