The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said that it will commence the release of results of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
This was contained in the minutes of a meeting held at the end of an emergency management meeting held over the weekend in Abuja.
How to check JAMB results 2023
- Go to the JAMB result-checking portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/CheckUTMEResults.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number/Email Address in the required column.
- Click on ‘Check My Results’.
- The portal will load your result if it’s ready.
It is imperative to note, that JAMB UTME results are released in batches. If the portal returns with ‘You Do Not Have Any Result Yet’, that implies your result is not yet ready and you have to check back later.
JAMB 2023/2024 Result Checking through SMS
A brand-new approach to looking at Jamb data was just released in 2023.
- Use SMS on your phone to check your Jamb score.
- Because it can only be sent via SMS and not online, it is not free but rather inexpensive.
- Using the phone or SIM that you used to register for the jamb, text the word “RESULT” to 55019. (the jamb number).
- Make sure to use capital or uppercase letters for the RESULT.
- Your SIM card will be charged 50 Naira.
- You will receive your exam results and the scores you received for each topic you took in a timely manner.
