Kano Pillars Football Club Interim Management Committee has given one week break to its players after being promoted to the Nigeria Premier League.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the club, Alhaji Babangida Umar, shortly after the final match of the super 8 of Nigeria National league at Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Delta state.
Umar said the technical crew of the club would not go for the break until they submitted their technical report on the season.
The Chairman commended government, players, technical crew, supporters and good people of the state for their support to the team which he described as the reason behind the return to the Premier league.
He promised that all necessary machineries would be put in place for the team to succeed in the premier league.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Kano Pillars, Katsina United, Heartland and Sporting football clubs are the four teams that have been promoted to Nigeria Premier league which is expected to commence in August.
