The management of Bayero University Kano has approved the Special Re-sit Examination for the final year, spillover I, and spillover II students for the 2022–2023 academic session.
Daily News 24 reports that this was contained in the university’s special weekly bulletin, signed by the Deputy Registrar and Head of Public Affairs of the university, Lamara Garba.
The statement said only students who registered and failed a minimum of three courses in the 2022–2023 academic session in the final year, spillover I and Spillover II levels, are to be considered for Re-sit examinations.
Similarly, the students are to pay the sums of N25000, N35000, and N45000 for 1, 2, and 3 courses, respectively.
The announcement reads in part: “The students that have already registered for the 2022/2023 session and have satisfied the Special Re-sit Examination require to be refunded the balance from the amount paid on the number of the Re-sit courses.”
The registration period for the Special Re-sit is to commence from Monday, August 28th, to Saturday, September 16th, 2023.
Affected students were advised to visit their respective departments for more information.
