The Ondo State Police Command has announced the arrest of Yusuf Adenoyin, who was allegedly found in possession of eight dry human skulls.
According to a statement from the command’s spokesperson, SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, the arrest occurred in Isua-Akoko, located in the Akoko South West Local Government Area of the state.

The incident took place when officers from the Police Safer Highway Patrol were conducting routine checks at the Isua-Epinmi checkpoint.
During the search of a vehicle, one passenger attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended by the police.
Upon searching for the suspect, they discovered eight dry human skulls, fresh human flesh, and various charms concealed in a garri sack.
The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Yusuf Adenoyin, admitted during interrogation that he was transporting the items to supply to herbalists.
He also confessed to having previously supplied seven human skulls before his arrest.
SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya stated that an investigation is ongoing to identify and apprehend Adenoyin’s accomplices.
