The Executive Governor of Kano State Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the appointments of Chairman, Executive Secretary and members of Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board.
This was contained in a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Kano State Governor, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
Dailynews24 reports that those appointed are: Alhaji Yusuf Lawan as board chairman and Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u as executive secretary.
Other members include; Shiek Abbas Abubakar Daneji, Shiek Shehi Shehi Maihula, Amb. Munir Lawan, Shiek Isma’il Mangu, Hajia Aishatu Munir Matawalle and Dr. Sani Ashir.
Dawakin Tofa says the appointees are expected to takeover the affairs of the board immediately to ensure successful 2023 Hajj operation.
