Following the extension by 3 weeks of All Progressive Congress (APC) nationwide membership registration a member in the 2019 APC Presidential campaign committee Alhaji Ahmadu Haruna Zago urged all party supporters to utilize the 3 weeks extension and get registered as members of the ruling party
The state APC party chairman aspirant made the call in Kano while addressing party members. According to him, the registration and update of membership that began on Tuesday 9th, 2021 across the 36 states of the federation have been extended by 3 weeks adding that the feedback not only from kano but across the whole states had been overwhelming and beyond the projected outcome.
“It is important to let you know that the turnout of party members in Kano has been beyond the projected success level. We have witnessed a massive turnout of intending registrants hence the need for the extension. I want you all to ensure that you have used this opportunity and register as members,” he stated.
Mr. Danzago who was the state party chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) expressed optimism about APC’s success in 2023 adding that the party is the only answer to Nigerian issues. He added that there are clear indications that the party is recording new entries into the party, a development he described as an indicator of the party’s popularity in the state.
