Tricycle operators in Kano are expected to pay daily tax of N100 as enforced by the Kano State Government.

Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress in Kano, Comrade Kabiru Ado Minjibir made this known to Newsmen during a joint meeting with Tricycle Owners Association, Nigerian Labour Congress, and Kano Road Traffic Agency KAROTA, in which resolutions where reached.

The meeting that was conducted in KAROTA Office is aimed at getting amicable panacea to the crisis between the Tricyclist operators and Kano State Government.

Comrade Minjibir added that it is expected for the leaders of tricyclist to inform their members so as to continue with normal business after finishing what is expected of every operator.

Speaking during the briefing, Managing Director Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) Baffa Babba Dan Agundi appreciated the cooperation shown by the Tricyclist Union and Kano Civil Society Forum in reaching the concluded stage.
