Bayero University Kano has introduced new security measure to curtail “bad elements from entering its campuses” and ensure safety.

This was contained in a statement issued to Daily News 24 by the University’s Secretary, Information and Publication Division, Lamara Garba.

“As part of measures to ensure maximum security within the vicinity of the University Campuses, the management has directed that no person shall be allowed entry into the University premises without full identification”. The statement said.

‘’Members of the university community are therefore requested to give maximum cooperation to security personnel in this respect”, the statement added.

The University is hopeful that the new measure would provide safety.
