A traditional ruler in Plateau State, Joshua Mutkut, has been kidnapped by gunmen.
It was learnt that Mutkut, who is the paramount ruler of the Mushere community in Bokkos Local Government Area of the state, was abducted at his palace in the locality on Sunday night.
The governor of the state, Caleb Mutfwang, confirmed the development on Monday while appearing on a programme organised to celebrate Democracy Day in the state.
