Kotu a Ghana ta haramta biyan albashi ga matar shugaban kasa da mataimakinsa

Kotun Ƙolin Ghana ta haramta matakin da majalisar dokokin ƙasar ta amince da shi na yin amfani da asusun gwamnati wajen biyan albashi da alawus-alawus ga matar shugaban ƙasa da ta mataimakinsa.

Kotun ta bayyana cewa ”kundin tsarin ƙasar bai tanadi a biya matar shugaban ƙasa ko ta mataimakinsa albashi da ko wanne iri alawus-alawus ba”.

A hukuncin da kotun mai mutane bakwai, ƙarƙashin jagorancin babban mai shari’a Gertrude Sackey Torkornoo ta yanke ranar Laraba, ta bayyana cewa kundin tsarin mulkin Ghana bai ware wani matsayi ga matar shugaban ƙasa ko ta mataimakinsa a gwamnati ba.

Hakan ya biyo bayan wasu ƙararraki da shugaban jam’iyyar NPP na yankin Bono Kwame Baffoe ya gabatar a gaban kotun, inda ya buƙaci a soke batun biyan matan shugaban ƙasa daga cikin asusun gwamnati ƙasar, kamar yadda kamfanin dillacin labaran Ghana GNA ta ruwaito. 

Kotun Ƙolin ta yi la’akari da ƙarar da Mista Baffoe ya shigar, wanda ya ce matakin da majalisar dokokin ƙasar ta ɗauka ya saɓa wa sashe na 71 (1) da (2 ) na kundin tsarin mulkin ƙasar Ghana na 1992. 

Don haka, ya buƙaci kotun ta soke batun a matsayin mara inganci wanda bai kamata ƙasar ta yi aiki da shi ba. 

Kazalika, mai shigar da ƙarar ya nemi kotun ta jaddada tanadin dokar sashe na 71 (1) da (2), da ke cewa matar shugaban ƙasa da na matar mataimakinsa ba ma’aikatan gwamnatin ƙasar Ghana ba ne.
