Nigeria Bar Association, NBA Dutse branch has distributed relief material to  its members to cushion the hardship invoked by the ongoing industrial action embarked upon by the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria , JUSUN.

Then branch under the chairmanship of Barrister  Garba Abubakar doled out cash  to young practitioners , in efforts to relief some of  its members from   their plights  caused by the shutdown of Nigerian  court houses   by the striking workers.

The chairman of the committee set up to mobilize and  disburse  the palliatives and also the Welfare secretary  NBA Dutse branch, Barrister G H. Umar  confirmed that the relief packages were disbursed to beneficiaries last Wednesday.

Strike continues until our demands are – JUSUN/PASAN

He disclosed that approximately 50 lawyers benefited from the exercise, he added that the exercise was in response to the challenges confronting some members in the branch, owing to the ongoing  strike action by judiciary  workers.

Umar said NBA Dutse supported by Jigawa state Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Barrister Musa Aliyu Umar pooled their resources together to conduct the exercise .

Umar enjoined members of the branch to continue to work in the spirit of unity and not to relent in their pursuit of interest of justice under any working circumstance they found themselves.
