Kaduna state Government, Nasir El-rufai has described all forms of negative comments against security as a most unfortunate display of ingratitude, despite their sacrifices and patriotism to the nation.
Nasir El-Rufai made the assertion when he paid his last respect, as well condoled with the families of the two Nigerian Army and Navy personnel, Private Salisu Rabiu and Ordinary Seaman Bilal Mohammed who paid the supreme price on Monday, while defending students of Bethel Baptist High School, Kaduna.
The Governor who was represented at the funeral of Ordinary Seaman Mohammed at Ungwan Kanawa Cemetery, Kaduna North LGA, and also prayers session offered for Private Rabiu at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital’s mortuary before his remains were taken to Daura, Katsina State for final interment by his commissioner of Internal security and home affairs, Samuel Aruwan said the Nigerian troops deserves unflinching solidarity, not ingratitude.
The executive head lamented the duo are heroes who lost their lives while engaging outlaws who represent the worst of humanity, noted their lives would not go in vain as the victory of evil men is only temporary, but their retribution permanent.
He prayed for the repose of their souls, stressed troops and all security personnel on the frontlines deserve solidarity, motivation and gratitude, instead of condemnation.
Recall the two personnel, Private Salisu Rabiu and Ordinary Seaman Bilal Mohammed lost their lives while engaging the bandits who attacked the school and kidnapped an unspecified number of students in the early hours of Monday, 5th July 2021.
