In a statement signed by Abdullahi Sani Sulaiman, the board’s Information Officer, it was revealed that the suspension followed numerous complaints from concerned citizens regarding the actress’s appearance and conduct.
“Samha had been warned multiple times about her crude dressing, vulgar displays, and language in some of her videos,” the statement read.
The board also announced the revocation of her liaison status and stated that it would no longer censor any films featuring her.
Empowered by law to regulate creative content in line with Kano State’s religious, cultural, and moral values, the board emphasized that the suspension aligns with its ongoing efforts to uphold ethical standards in the Kannywood film industry.
