Kano State Deputy Governor, Aminu Gwarzo, has assumed duties at the state’s Government House in Kano.
Mr Gwarzo was received at the Government House on Wednesday by the Permanent Secretary, Abdulkadir Adamu Musa and members of staff of the Office of the Deputy Governor.

Gov. Abba Yusuf and Aminu Gwarzo were sworn in on Monday at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, by the state Acting Chief Judge, Justice Dije Aboki.
Shortly after taking his seat at the office, Gwarzo tasked civil servants attached to the office to be punctual and adhere strictly to the rules and regulations of their work.
He said that the new administration in the state was committed to turning around the fortunes of residents, through the implementation of people-oriented policies.
The Dep. Governor solicited their maximum support to achieve the set administration’s objectives.
The Permanent Secretary Musa, promised to give the deputy governor all the necessary support to achieve the desired goals.
Also, the state NNPP Chairman, Alhaji Umar Doguwa, appealed to the staff to support the administration, to meet the desired political growth of the state.
