Leganes defender, Kenneth Omeruo has celebrated his 60th appearance for the Super Eagles.

Omeruo was in action in the Super Eagles 1-0 win against Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau on Monday night.

It was a memorable occasion for the centre-back, who captained the former African champions in the game.

Omeruo made his debut for the Super Eagles as a 19-year-old in a friendly against Cape Verde on January 9, 2013.

The 29-year-old featured in all the games as the Super Eagles won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa the following month.

The centre-back has also represented at the U-17 and U-20 level.

He has scored two goals for the Super Eagles.
