One Voice Development Initiative (OVD) has called on the federal government and all other relevant stakeholders involved to free DCP Abba Kyari.
This was contained in a prayer session organized by the Open Voice Development Initiative (OVD) in Kano to seek Allah’s intervention for the release of DCP Abba Kyari.
Speaking at the gathering, the convener of the prayer session, Comrade Abbas Abdullahi Yakasai, says the arrest of Abba Kyari has created a big vacuum in the fight against crimes and banditry in Nigeria. He therefore urged all patriotic Nigerians to stand up for justice and seek his immediate release.

“We gathered here to pray to Allah and seek his intervention, mercy, and help to ease the release of DCP Abba Kyari. We are quite sure and optimistic about the power of a prayer.”
“And also to passionately call his loved ones, concerned citizens, patriotic northerners, and well-meaning Nigerians to demand his release through President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to a safe and secure Nigeria.” Yakasai said.
According to him, Abba was politically witch- hunted for his honesty, steadfastness, determination and ability to chase out criminals, bandits, and plush-out high figure gangs leaders who have been terrorizing Nigerians.
While leading the prayer session, Malam Buhari invoked Allah’s mercy to touch the heart of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to release DCP Abba.
He said prayer remains the only option they’ve got as citizens and patriots Nigerians. He added that Nigerians are more in need of Kyari now than ever before in the security architecture of Nigeria to fight insecurities and criminalities to the last level.
The group tasked Tinubu to look into their demand of releasing DCP Abba kyari, as it would go along way in reducing the issue of insecurity in Nigeria, which is part of his renewed hope agendas.
