President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday announced the appointment of Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff.

The president also announced Sen. Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, as Deputy Chief of Staff.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director, Information.

Oladunjoye said Tinubu also named former Governor of Benue State and immediate past Minister of Special Duties, George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) in a meeting with Progressives Governors Forum (PGF).

Some reports say that Gbajabiamila was seen today being taken around the Office of the Chief of Staff by staff in the Presidential Villa.
