Popular Nigerian Singer and Songwriter, Tiwatope Savage known professionally as Tiwa Savage publicly came out to confirm that there was a security breach at her residence yesterday.
In a statement released on her Official Facebook page today being Friday the 14th day of April, 2023 the talented singer stated that there was a major security breach at her residence yesterday but she and her family are safe and well.

She also went ahead to reveal that a number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station in Ikoyi, Lagos State.

“Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday 13th April, 2023 there was a major security breach at the residence of musician, Tiwa Savage. A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi. Tiwa Savage and her family are safe and well”, Tiwa wrote on Facebook and it stirred massive reactions from fans, viewers and followers with many taking to the comment section to react.
This is not the first time we are hearing of something like this in the country and it’s definitely not a good one. The level of insecurities in Nigeria keeps going up as the day goes by and we hope the government gets to do something about it real quick.
