Gunmen have attacked the residence of Mr Abdurrahman Adamu, Chairman of the Federal University of Gusau chapter, Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

The incident, which occurred on Wednesday morning, led to the abduction of at least six persons, including Adamu’s neighbour, Daily Post reports.

The gunmen, who invaded the chairman’s home in Damba Quarters, an outskirt of Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, were reportedly shooting sporadically before whisking the victims away to an unknown destination.
